Tami reports that there are no size presets for submitting via Android (like there are on the iPhone). There is only one photo size which is too large. I’m working on a max photo size via a new home page design that I hope will iron that out. Thanks!

Putz: When I try to post from my phone, I get an error message that I don’t have the right permissions. Nathan: Ignore it and proceed to new post. That’s something I want to fix, but for now just ignore the warning. I think it goes away after you post once or twice.

The RSS feed is working! Subscribe via google reader or the reader of your choice for all the photos. Or you can bookmark the page in your phone browser and just view from there too (that’s what I do)

I dunno if you want to enforce content approval (I would be against it), but sometimes some posts make this seem like a random tumblr instead of strictly DT related material.

2 users had phone upload failures. I’m familiar from my own use unfortunately
It takes a second for the photo to upload, but that process is a little unclear in the WP app interface. I usually go into my post, where I would type a caption and wait to see the code appear there with the a href info. Then hit publish. I think if you’re too speedy it sometimes results in failure. I’ll include that info in the sign up email. I hate all these glitches, but once you get in the posting habit they kind of disappear.

ESPECIALLY if your phone isn’t connected to wifi or is in any New School building

FYI—I heard Nick saying in class yesterday that this site is his latest/current obsession.
(This comment from Kenny) Having the option for widescreen photos on Android would be nice. Also, since the standard (in the US, at least) is to deal with dates in the format of MM/DD/YYYY, it might be less confusing to change the date formatting: currently it is DD/MM/YYYY. If you’re putting the day first because you’re trying to emphasize the day, maybe just change it to say something like Tuesday, 04/19/2011.

Another suggestion: include a feed on the sidebar of latest comments so that it is easier to tell what conversations are happening about various photos/posts.
